The FA4 Collective will have a pop-up show at the Expo Arts Center in Long Beach, Ca on Friday, October 2nd from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. The Show will coincide with the First Friday Art Walk in Long Beach. The show features 10 up-and-coming artists from the collective. I will be showing some new works, paintings and some prints for under $100!
Fa4 Collective is a group of artists who graduated from California State University in Long Beach. Formed in 2014, the group is dedicated to creating artwork that show their individuality and unity as a community of artists. Jen Aguirre, Emily Babette, Annie Chang, Romina Del Castillo, Jeff Dulla, Courtney Heiser, Ciana Lee, Gloria Elisa Margarita Sanchez, Sean O’Brien and myself, Diane Williams are among the artists to show at the Expo.
Highlights include, Gloria Elisa Margarita Sanchez who works in mixed media. Gloria creates vibrant, dynamic abstract works that reference parts of industrial and city structures. Jeff Dulla’s art revolves around the natural environment coupled with the affects of human kinds interaction with nature. Romina Del Castillo, a figurative artist whose drawings and paintings are often derived from observation. Romina is currently showing work at the Brand Library Art Gallery in Glendale, Ca.
This event is free to the public and is always an enjoyable opportunity to see outstanding work, meet the artists, listen to music, and enjoy a beverage or two.
